Mr. Sudhir Mutalik elected as Chairman, CII Maharashtra: CII ( Confederation of India Industries ) is 125 years old and Industry lead and Industry managed Non-Government Organisation, with over 9000 members from the private as well as PSU, including MSMEs and MNCs. CII has been engaged in shaping India’s development journey and works proactively on transforming Indian Industries engagement in national development. CII charts change by working closely with Government policy issues, interfacing with thought leaders, and enhancing efficiency, competitiveness, and business opportunities for industry through a range of specialized services and strategic global linkages. With 62 offices, including 10 centers of excellence in India and 8 overseas offices in Australia, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, Singapore. UAE, UK and USA, as well as an institutional partnership with 394 counterpart organizations in 133 countries, CII, serves as a reference point for Indian Industry and the International Business Community.

Maharashtra is the most industrialized state in India which has the highest contribution to the GDP of the country amongst all other states. We are pleased to share with you with great pride that CII member industries in the state of Maharashtra have elected our Founder and Managing Director Mr. Sudhir Mutalik as Chairman of CII Maharashtra. It’s a big honor for our company.

Apart from policy advocacy for the industries in the state, CII Maharashtra under the vibrant leadership of Mr. Sudhir Mutalik has done profound work during pandemics for the society. In the 2nd wave of CORONA cases, CII Maharashtra through its members have supported various civil hospitals and community with the supply of over 500 Oxygen Cylinders, 402 Oxygen Concentrators, 5 mortuary chambers, 2 RT-PCR Testing machines, 1 RNA extraction machine, 100,000 RT-PCR Testing Kits, 40 ventilators, 18,000 N-95 masks, 3000 PPE kits, and 3000 sanitizer bottles.

Mr. Mutalik is also a member of CII’s National Committee on Ease of Doing Business in the country.
